before or after exercise, delayed release is probably more beneficial

and gel in the acidic environment of the stomach. As a result, it can
take more than twice as long for caseins to be broken-down into their
amino acid subcomponents than whey and other proteins. Because of these
unique time-released qualities, caseins are aptly described as being

Directions
Use
ON 100% Casein Protein first thing in the morning, immediately before
bed, in place of small meals, and/or any other time when delayed
protein absorption is desired. To encourage positive nitrogen balance,
consume approximately 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight per
day from a combination of high protein per pound of body weight per day
from a combination of high protein foods and supplements. For better
results, consume your daily protein allotment over 4-6 meals spread
evenly throughout the day. Blender: (Easy - A little more involved but
worth the trouble) Add one heaping scoop of ON 100% Casein Protein to a
blender filled with 10-12 fl oz of cold water or milk. Cover and blend
for 20-30 seconds. Add 1-2 ice cubes then blend for an additional 30
seconds. Enjoy. For a delicious smoothie, try adding fruits, peanut
butter, yogurt, shredded coconut, and/or other ingredients (along with
the ice cubes) to your blended casein protein shake. Shaker (Easier -
Quick and convenient) Fill a shaker bottle with 10-12 fl oz of cold
water or milk. Add one heaping scoop of ON 100% Casein Protein. Cover
and shake for 25-30 seconds. Enjoy. Glass and Spoon: (Easiest - Fast
and simple) Simply add one heaping scoop of ON 100% Casein Protein to a
tall glass. Add 10-12 fl oz of cold water or milk. Mix with a spoon for
about 20 seconds or until powder is well disbursed. Store in a cool,
dry place.
