Provides 23 g of protein per serving! ON 100% Casein Protein: Sometimes slower is better - especially when it comes to the rate of
protein digestion. While rapid protein absorption is desirable
immediately before or after exercise, delayed release is probably more
beneficial throughout the remainder of the day. Casein proteins are pH
sensitive and gel in the acidic environment of the stomach. As a
result, it can take more than twice as long for caseins to be
broken-down into their amino acid subcomponents than whey and other
proteins. Because of these unique "time-released" qualities, caseins
are aptly described as being anti-catabolic, or muscle-protecting,

Directions
Use
ON 100% Casein Protein first thing in the morning, immediately before
bed, in place of small meals, and/or any other time when delayed
protein absorption is desired. To encourage positive nitrogen balance,
consume approximately 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight per
day from a combination of high protein foods and supplement. For better
results, consume your daily protein allotment over 4-6 meals spread
evenly throughout the day. Store in a cool, dry place. Notice: For use
as a dietary supplement only. Do not use for weight reduction. Mixing
Instructions (3 Different Methods): Blender - (Easy: A little more
involved but worth the trouble): Add one heaping scoop of ON 100%
Casein Protein to a blender filled with 10-12 fl oz of cold water or
milk. Cover and blend for 20-30 seconds. Add 1-2 ice cubes then blend
for an additional 30 seconds. Enjoy. For a delicious smoothie, try
adding fruits, peanut butter, yogurt, shredded coconut, and/or other
ingredients (along with the ice cubes) to your blended casein protein
shake. Shaker - (Easier: Quick and convenient): Fill a shaker bottle
with 10-12 fl oz of cold water or milk. Add one heaping scoop of ON
100% Casein Protein. Cover and shake for 25-30 seconds. Enjoy. If you
can't find a shaker bottle at your local gym or health food store.
Glass & Spoon - (Easiest: Fast and simple): Simply add one heaping
scoop of ON 100% Casein Protein to a tall glass. Add 10-12 fl oz of
cold water or milk. Mix with a spoon for about 20 seconds or until
powder is well disbursed.
