Dietary Supplement.
CLA-Conjugated Linolenic Acid. CLA (Conjugated Linolenic Acid) dietary
supplement is a mixture of positional and geometric isomers of linoleic
acid with conjugated double bonds. A variety of foods including cheese,
turkey, and cooked ground beef contain CLA naturally. The c-9, t-11,
and t-10, c-12 CLA isomers (contained in this dietary supplement) are
believed to be the active forms incorporated into the phospholipids
fraction of tissues of animals and humans fed a mixture of CLA isomers.
